People Watching
When you deal with people all the time, you learn a lot. There are some really interesting things that you can find out if you watch people. If you have ever looked at a mandala, you have seen patterns that have a nearly infinite complexity. If you do watch that, then you can look down into the world and find out what you’re looking at. If you keep looking at things like that, and then you try applying that mentality to people, you end up with some really interesting looks. That can be a lot of fun.
Try watching people and looking for things you wouldn’t normally look for. There are many aspects to looking at someone. There is what they were born with. There is the nose that their genes spelled out. There is the shape of their eyes and forehead, which their genes spelled out. There is the shape of their jaw, the shape of their lips, the color of their skin, the color and texture of their hair. None of that should ever set off any security alarms to you. If you are watching it that way, then you will never understand what it is you’re really looking for. You’ll never get past the ‘oh, that’s just one of the many teachers in Auckland or plumbers Auckland or people that you always see.
What you should watch for instead is this: the way they move, where their eyes go, what do they do with their eyebrows, what do they do when they try to get things expressed, and what they do when they are trying not to get things expressed. When you figure that out, you discover things you wouldn’t otherwise ever realize People are like mandalas, and if you watch them carefully, you can find out all kinds of things that you wouldn’t otherwise have any idea what you’re looking at. That’s the fun thing about this.
